Conversation -> Confusion -> Cure -> Choice
Worrying || Pastor Johnston Pablo || January 8
To win over worry we must exercise faith in God. The more you know God and his character, the greater your faith will be...
LOVE || Titus 3:4-7 || Kris Quero || December 18
"The ability to love rests in God..."
"Unwrapping God's Gift of Peace" || Pastor Ed Stuckey || December 4
The gift box has writing on it that describes the gift. God gives us a gift with writing on it, but we sometimes accept it with our own assumptions about it. We hear Peace to refer to “good feelings”, saying “I’m at peace, because things are going alright now”.
Unwrapping the Best Gifts of Christmas - HOPE || Pastor Ma. Johnston Pablo || November 27
Nowadays, Christmas is tainted by materialism and an overwhelming selfishness. Some wish to remove the name “Christmas” and call it “Happy Holidays”. But, when Jesus is removed from Christmas, then the celebration is overcome by political correctness.
Lord Teach Us To Pray || Pastor Ma. Johnston Pablo || Luke 11:1 & Matt 6:9-13 || November 13
Prayer is the backbone of our church, it is very important in our church life.
What is your attitude towards prayer?
We Grow Better Together: In Service || Kris Quero || 1 Peter 4:7-11 || October 30
Our purpose for being created comes from Isaiah 43:7 - “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” The more I understood how our purpose is to glorify him, the more I understood service.
We Grow Better Together: in Discipleship || Romans 12:1-21 || Pastor Johnston Pablo || October 23
Why do we come to church every Sunday? Why do you get involved with various ministries and join several DEEP groups? It’s important to see the big picture to why we are doing these things! The overarching purpose is not to make us feel good or comfortable, it is to bring about spiritual transformation in our lives.
We Grow Better Together: In Worship || Pastor Johnston Pablo || Psalm 95:1-7 & Hebrews 10:19-25 || October 16
Nothing could be further than this truth: that God inhabits the praises of His people in corporate worship. It’s not just a one time event, but He decides to be with us for the rest of our lives...
We Grow Better Together: Building a Community that Stirs Our Passion for God || Pastor Johnston Pablo || October 9
What would it take for our church to build a spiritual community that stirs our passion for God?
A Mentored Life Matters || 2 Timothy 3:10-17 || Pastor Johnston Pablo || October 2
There is no such thing is a lone ranger Christian...
Investing Our Lives In What Endures || 2 Timothy 2:1-10 || Pastor Johnston Pablo || September 25
Change brings about that tension, joy, sadness, potential, and the pain of that separation. Change is God's plan for your growth and the expansion of God's kingdom. Change should catapult us to the unchangeable. God is unchangeable, the alpha and the omega, the faithful one, a God of eternity...
Courage to Conquer || Joshua 1 || Pastor Ed Stuckey || September 18
Change is difficult, one of the hardest things we do. Here's a story about a group of people who had a single leader for along time and were transitioning to another leader. What they needed to realise was the transition into a whole new era. But, when we serve an unchanging God, we can depend on Him to maintain our church...
There is Joy in Serving Jesus || Galatians 6 || Farewell message by Pastor Joshua & Febe Pantoja at the Gathering || September 11
When you cheer on Jesus, who is the tightrope walker, you must trust Him completely. We must ride in this wheelbarrow and serve Him throughout our lives. Serving here for 13 years has been a joyful and sorrowful wheelbarrow ride. It takes an extreme exercise of faith to ride this wheelbarrow...
Following Jesus || Mark 10:17-31 || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || September 4
The word "follow" actually means to stick. Jesus is saying: "I want you to stick with me."
The Grace of God || Titus 2:11-15 || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || August 28
Jesus was in this world, but was not of the world. He spent time with those that society do not welcome. He stayed in the house of Zacchaeus, a very sinful man, but was able to win him over. He stayed with tax collectors to correct him and save him. He humbly washed the dusty feet of his disciples, even knowing that one of them would betray him. He showed grace to even Peter, who denied him 3 times! Do we focus on when we were betrayed or criticized, or do we anchor our hope in God’s great love shown through our Lord Jesus Christ?
New Resources || Phil 4:1-9 || Pastor Mark Dixon || August 21
The Lord is near in time (Romans 12:17-21; James 5:8-8; 1 Peter 3:8-9) …and is near by presence of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13; Romans 8:8; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Corinthians 3:17)...
Being Religious is Not Enough || Matthew 15:1-20 || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || August 14
In this church, we will only follow everything according to the Word of God. Some churches will create traditions themselves, throwing a facade. In the Philippines, there were lots of people around the chapel, but they came believing that if they were in the vicinity of the chapel, then they would receive the blessing of the Lord!...
Reaching Out to the Needy || Matthew 8:1-4 || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || August 7
Christianity is not measured by your attendance in the church, nor how many hours you read the word of God, nor how long you pray. It is measured by how you obey the teachings of Jesus and God!
Living in Accordance with the Gospel that we Preach || 1st Corinthians 8:1-13 & 9:19-23 || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || July 31
Jesus loved everyone, including those who are outcast, including those who did yoga, who play Pokemon, who drink alcohol. We must be careful to not be legalistic and love them and help them in their spirituality. Some will use their freedom to judge others, saying you should not golf, or buy a certain car, or drink wine, and they use the bible to tell others what they want themselves because of their annoyance. Remember to do everything, even rebuking, with love.
Experiencing Revival in the Power of the Holy Spirit || Romans 8:1-17 || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || July 24
The Spirit lives in us. But we need to yield to His leading. That is our obligation! Yielding to the Spirit isn't just a one-time decision; it's a day by day, moment by moment proposition.
What do you want me to do for you? || Mark 10 || Pastor Mark Dixon || July 17
“What do you want me to do for you?” How do you answer this question? How you answer this question to Jesus illustrates how you perceive Jesus. Do you place your trust in Him? We were all beggars on the side of the road until He redeemed us. When you come to Him, he will ask you “What do you want me to do for you?"
Living by the Spirit || Romans 8:1-13 || Pastor Ed Stuckey || July 3
God offers forgiveness - from sins, past, present, and future. When you fully commit yourself to Christ, you unite yourself with Him and his act of sacrifice for sins becomes yours. It’s not what you do, it’s who you know!
Biblical Truths About Prayer || Pastor Joshua Pantoja || June 26
Even in some posts from social media accounts, from our own church, we preach pieces of the bible we want to hear, but we don't preach the entire message!
When Waiting is Worthwhile || Acts 1:12-26 || Pastor Ed Stuckey || June 19
Balance initiative and patience, but get going! There’s much we must do while we wait! We’re here to be productive, for we are saved for Good Works that He has set aside before the Earth. Waiting is how God gets us ready, equipping us for the future. Waiting is not for blessings! Waiting is for preparing for God’s ministry!
Engaging in Christ’s Continuing Cause || Acts 1:1-11 || Pastor Ed Stuckey || June 12
Revival usually looks scheduled, that every second week we’re having a series about reviving. But, revival very much a work of God. It’s not just something we plan or organize.
